Dedicated to the memory of Dawn Ofelia Dawkins-Wilson ( 19th March 1976 - 26th May 2022)

This site is a tribute to a phenomenal woman -  Dawn Dawkins-Wilson, who was born in Westmoreland. Jamaica on March 19, 1976.  Her family moved to St Catherine in her early years, where she attended primary and high school. She went on to attend UTech in Kingston before moving to London in 2003. She subsequently completed her studies at Middlesex University.

She met her true love Oneil Wilson (Robert) while attending UTech and there blossomed a solid relationship. They were married in 2004 and the union produced 2 sons, Matthieu and Macarle. Dawn and Oneil were the epitome of an everlasting  love.

Dawn lived life to the fullest. She was a vibrant, energetic, caring person. She nurtured all who came into contact with her. She was the consummate family woman -  a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a sister-in-law and a daughter-in-law. She was in the noble profession of teaching. She inspired her students and her colleagues. She gave her all.

Dawn is survived by her husband, Oneil (Robert), her 2 sons - Matthieu and Macarle, her mother Icylyn, her dad Hopeton, her sisters - Carrolin, Alesha, Vanetta, Vanessa and Galia,  her brother - Oneil, brothers-in-law - Delroy, Vincent and  Kenneth, sisters-in law - Carline and Kaydia, mother-in-law - Evelyn, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and work colleagues.

Thoughts

I remember my first reprimand...I came into church after the reading of the Bible and you told me the scripture and told me to sit and read it. I think I was maybe 8 years old or younger. Perhaps that's where my love for reading the Bible started. I am Forever grateful, Dawn.

I admire Dawn's solid faith during her illness. We would communicate via WhatsApp and though some of the the reports were not favourable Dawn was always thankful and showed full Godfidence. Though lost is painful she has gained a glorious heaven. To Oniel, the boys, other relatives and friends grab strength from the beautiful memories and let us endeavor to meet Dawn in heaven some sweet day. Sleep in heavenly peace 👑👑👑

A poem to encourage the family, love ones and friends. Remember Me by Margaret Mead To the living, I am gone, To the sorrowful, I will never return, To the angry, I was cheated, But to the happy, I am at peace, And to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot speak, but I can listen. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand upon a shore gazing at a beautiful sea, As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity, Remember me. Remember me in your heart: Your thoughts, and your memories, Of the times we loved, The times we cried, The times we fought, The times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never have gone.
